About Sundar Pichai’s U.S. Congress testimony

This year began with Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO and founder) appearing in front of the U.S. Congress answering questions about… how the internet works. Here’s a brief summary of it.

A couple of days ago, another tech giant CEO faced the Congress. Sundar Pinchar, head of Google, was under attack with questions by the committee. Comparing the two hearings, Sundar’s seemed more political.

Why are these types of hearings important?

First, in my opinion, they’re a little bit too late. 10 years ago were more appropriate. Which leads us to the second — all the (dumb) questions need to be asked publically-again, late. We kind of just got along with it and making the regulations while on the go.

Similar to blockchain/crypto space.

They did not emphasize enough or suggested at least to provide a direct line by phone/chat/email to support Google products.

Here are the highlights of the hearing (or you can watch, like me, the entire video)
